PUBLIC HEARING MINUTES

PRESENT: Chairman Mike Metcalf, Supervisor Josh Fornengo, Clerk Ryan Brennan, Treasurer Mona Velebir, Kevin Tidemand, Jerry Metcalf, Dan Bullis
ABSENT: Supervisor Bryan Holter
CALL TO ORDER: Mike Metcalf called the August 12th, 2026 public hearing to order at 5:02 p.m.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
TOPIC: Consideration of adopting Ordinance #TO2026-02—an ordinance revising ATV/UTV route guidance for efficiency, clarity, and enforcement.
SUMMARY: Mike Metcalf reviewed the purpose of the ordinance, rules of conduct, and public hearing procedures. He then gave a PowerPoint presentation with details of the ordinance and the need for its revision. Further information & discussion was provided by Dan Bullis, Kevin Tidemand, and Jerry Metcalf.
CLOSING: The town board wishes to thank all attendees for their time in voicing opinions and providing information on this matter. Following this hearing, the town board must wait 30 days before taking further action. The town board will have this item at the September town board meeting, which will be held September 9th at 7:00 p.m., to discuss and vote on the approval or abandonment of Ordinance #TO2026-02.
