TOWN OF BLAINE
BOARD OF REVIEW MEETING MINUTES
Thursday, May 14th, 2026
Blaine Town Hall/Northland Community Center
I. OPENING
PRESENT: Chairman Mike Metcalf, Supervisor Josh Fornengo, Clerk Ryan Brennan, Assessor Bob Pardun
CALL TO ORDER: Mike Metcalf called the May 14th, 2026 Board of Review meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.
OVERVIEW: Ryan Brennan conducted a roll call with those present. After a brief discussion & review of Ordinance #TO2026-01 recently approved allowing the town clerk to be appointed as a voting member of the Board of Review, Ryan Brennan was appointed as the chairperson for the meeting, followed by Josh Fornengo appointed as vice-chairperson. Ryan Brennan confirmed that the mandatory training requirements for all board members present have been met and that official notices for the Open Book & Board of Review meetings had been posted well in advance at our town’s display boxes and website. Bob Pardun confirmed that no properties have been omitted from the assessment, no double-assessed properties were present, and that all properties have been assessed correctly. The assessor’s level of assessment is currently reported as 92% of market value, although this can change any year. Bob Pardun invited taxpayers to examine the assessment data during the Open Book meeting on May 7th. No notices of intent to file objection were received by either the town clerk or county assessor, and no residents were present at this Board of Review meeting to formerly appeal their assessments.
ADJOURNMENT: Ryan Brennan motioned to adjourn at 7:00 p.m. Supervisor Josh Fornengo seconded. Motion approved. Meeting was adjourned.
