BOARD OF REVIEW MINUTES
Friday, September 26th, 2025

I. OPENING
CALL TO ORDER: Chairman Mike Metcalf called the September 26th, 2025 Board of Review to order at 5:00 p.m.
PRESENT: Chairman Mike Metcalf, Supervisor Josh Fornengo, Clerk Ryan Brennan, Assessor Bob Pardun
OVERVIEW: Clerk Ryan Brennan conducted a roll call for those present. Chairman Mike Metcalf motioned for himself to be selected as chairperson for the Board of Review meeting. Supervisor Josh Fornengo seconded. Motion approved. Supervisor Josh Fornengo motioned for himself to be selected as vice-chairperson for the Board of Review meeting. Chairman Mike Metcalf seconded. Motion approved. Clerk Ryan Brennan confirmed that the mandatory training requirements for all board members present have been met and that official notices for the Open Book & Board of Review meetings had been posted well in advance at our town’s display boxes and website. Assessor Bob Pardun confirmed that no properties have been omitted from the assessment, no double-assessed properties were present, and that all properties have been assessed correctly. All properties in the Town of Blaine experienced a general increase of 72.1%, while residential properties in particular experienced a 79.4% increase. Assessor Bob Pardun invited taxpayers to examine the assessment data during the Open Book on September 19th. No notices of intent to file objection were received by either the town clerk or county assessor, and no residents were present at this Board of Review meeting to formerly appeal their assessments.
ADJOURNMENT: Chairman Mike Metcalf motioned to adjourn at 7:00 p.m. Supervisor Josh Fornengo seconded. Motion approved. Meeting was adjourned.
