OVERVIEW & STEPS

1. Call to order.
2. Roll call.
3. Select chairperson.
4. Select vice-chairperson.
5. Verify completion of training requirements.
6. Review assessor’s level of assessment.
7. Review the assessment roll.
   1. Examine the roll.
   2. Correct descriptions or calculation errors.
   3. Add omitted properties.
   4. Eliminate double-assessed properties.
8. Certify all corrections.
9. Confirm with the assessor that changes from Open Book are included in the assessment roll.
10. Allow taxpayers to examine the assessment data.
11. Review waivers with good cause for not meeting the 48-hour notice.
12. Review notices of intent to file objections.
13. Consider actions to be take on objections.
14. Determine if future meetings are required and, if so, schedule their date & time.
15. Adjournment.
