Chairman Jessica Estridge called the Special Meeting to order on October 25, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. 

Present were Chairman Jessica Estridge, Supervisor Josh Fornengo, Supervisor Bryan Holter, Treasurer Mona Vilebir, Clerk Charla Zaccardi, Daniel Sear, Ron and Sandra Gallagher, Donnie and LeeAnn McConkey, Tammy Bear, Billy Fish, Matt Holter, Cody Hughes, Dale and Penny Engebretson, Dan Arnal, Ron and Cheryl Gray, Dean Hiller, Dan Bullis, Mike Metcalf, Jeremy McConkey, Dori Willett, Merle Meyer, Todd Kitchenmaster, Dana Olsen and Patrick Raimville.

NEW BUSINESS

Chairman Estridge shared a re-cap of the UTV/ATV vehicle damage to Town roads and expressed increased concerns regarding safety on the Town roads. The number of vehicles and the weight of these machines are causing an increase in spending to the town. The Town of Blaine is not able to sustain the increase in spending on the repairs and maintenance of the damaged roads. There was a lengthly discussion of what to do to help offset costs and improve the safety of the Town roads. It was suggested a committee be formed to research trails, educate and inform legislators on the ongoing conditions.

Supervisor Josh Fornengo motioned to close the Barren roads (trouts), to include detailed written roads by the November 10, 2021 Board Meeting. Supervisor Bryan Holter seonded, Chairman Jessica Estridge third. Motion approved.

Chairman Jessica Estridge made a motion to post bid contracts and down payment for asphalt blacktop for South Markville Road and Big Island Road. Supervisor Josh Fornengo seconded. Motion passed.

Supervisor Jessica Estridge made a motion to adjourn at 8:24 p.m. Supervisor Josh Fornengo seconded. Motion passed.  Meeting was adjourned.
